| Biology and Control of Insects and Rodents Workshop is now being
offered free of charge by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC). This online course spans 11 modules and takes 2 days to complete them
all. Delivery is through Flash video talking heads and slide shows similar to
a classroom environment. The content goes above and beyond pests in food
(e.g., West Nile mosquitoes). Module three is on IPM and is outstanding. The
speaker is a PhD from Indiana University (the best at Pest Management
training). It’s not food-specific, but contains excellent core information. It
is part of a package deal including four courses:
Environmental Public Health Tracking 101
CDC0701 - Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response
CDC0703 - Performance Standards Workshop
CDC0702 - Biology and Control of Insects and Rodents

NEHA charges registration fees) is
