Managing Retail Food SafetyThe Texas Department of State Health Services, in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the City of McAllen Health Department and Mid-Continental Association of Food and Drug Officials (MCAFDO), is sponsoring an important training opportunity for food establishment sanitarians and inspectors. The course will be taught by FDA and state personnel and shows how risk-based inspections are applied in retail food establishments. Topics include:
Continuing education credit will be available. When and Where: The course will be held at the McAllen Convention Center, Ware Rd and Expressway 83, McAllen, Texas on February 19-21, 2008. The course will begin at 8:00 am on February 19, 2008 and conclude at 12:00 noon on February 21, 2008. To register, simply complete the form below and click on 'Register'. The information you enter will be transmitted to Ruth Hendy at ruth.hendy@dshs.state.ts.us. Your registration should be submitted by February 1, 2008. A $25.00 registration fee is to be paid on-site. Please make payment in cash check, or money order payable to MCAFDO. No vouchers can be accepted.
